30 Ring Muscle-Ups

The False Grip
The false grip is essential if you want to master the muscle-up. Unfortunately, there is no way around it being an uncomfortable and hard-to-maintain position. Today we’re going to spend time practicing the false grip as they lead into various muscle-up progressions. Be patient in developing this grip – don’t give up! – and you’ll be well on your way to the muscle-up.
