Workout of the Day

A) “Diane”
21-15-9 reps for time of:
Deadlifts @ 225/155#
Handstand Pushups

B) Sled Drag 100m – Heavy

Diane is another classic CrossFit couplet designed to challenge your ability with both heavy weights and advanced bodyweight exercises. In the first video, Annie does her HSPU strict, and gets very close to burning out. Laurie does her HSPU with a kip, and the extra coordinated whole-body movement allows her to get through the same range of motion faster. Faster = more power.

In the 2nd video, we see an all-time fast score 1:35 put up by Dan Bailey during the 2012 CrossFit Regionals competition. Don’t blink or you might miss it.
